Terms of Service
Last updated: June 28, 2026
Welcome to BuzzMe. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and BuzzMe (“BuzzMe,” “we,” “us”) and govern your access to and use of the BuzzMe app, website, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What BuzzMe is
BuzzMe is a content-aware vault for storing passes, tickets, and travel documents, with optional features including transit service alerts, reminders, connection-gated messaging, and AI-assisted tools. Some features rely on third-party providers (for example, payment processing and AI model providers) described below.
2. Beta service
BuzzMe is currently offered as an early/beta service. It is provided “as is” and may contain bugs, change without notice, or become temporarily unavailable. Do not rely on BuzzMe as your only copy of an essential document or your only means of catching a time-sensitive trip, payment, or appointment.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate information when you sign up and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the documents, passes, messages, and other content you add to BuzzMe (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and share Your Content.
5. Messaging and connections
BuzzMe messaging is connection-gated: another person can only message you after you accept a connection. You agree not to use messaging to send spam, harassment, unlawful, or infringing content. We may suspend accounts that abuse these features.
6. Capturing, recording, and watermarks
BuzzMe messages are private, connection-gated communications intended only for the people in a conversation. You agree not to screenshot, screen-record, photograph, transcribe, or otherwise capture another person’s messages in order to publish, redistribute, or gain an unfair advantage over them, and not to disclose captured content outside the conversation without the consent of the people involved.
To deter and trace misuse, BuzzMe overlays each conversation with a visible identity watermark showing the viewer’s vault handle and a timestamp. Any capture of a message therefore carries the capturer’s identifying watermark. You acknowledge that the presence of this watermark identifies you as the source of any captured content, and you agree not to remove, obscure, crop, edit, or otherwise tamper with it. Content captured in violation of this section is obtained without authorization, and you agree that such material carries no evidentiary or commercial standing and may not be relied upon to BuzzMe or any other person as authentic or authorized.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that capture or share messages in violation of this section. Nothing here is legal advice; depending on your jurisdiction, capturing or sharing private communications without consent may also carry independent legal consequences.
7. Payments
Purchases made through BuzzMe (such as transit passes or tickets) are processed by our third-party payment partner using tokenized card details; BuzzMe does not store your full card number. A clearly disclosed service fee may be added to a purchase. Charges are generally non-refundable except where required by law or the issuing provider. You are responsible for any amounts incurred through your account.
8. Notifications and location
With your permission, BuzzMe may send push notifications (for example, reminders and service alerts) and use your device location to surface the right pass at the right time. You can turn notifications and location access off at any time in your device or browser settings.
9. AI features
Some features use AI models to read documents, draft suggestions, or answer questions. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete. Always review AI-generated results before relying on them, and confirm any action (such as a purchase) before it is taken.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to breach security, access other users’ data, reverse engineer the Service, interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful purposes.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. BuzzMe’s security and fraud-prevention features are best-effort safeguards and are not a guarantee; they do not replace your bank’s protections or your own judgment.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuzzMe will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, missed trips, missed appointments, or lost profits, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
13. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms or the Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. You may stop using the Service at any time, and we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
